Affine Synchronizing Permutation Groups

Synchronizing groups were recently introduced by Arnold and Steinberg to study the famous Cerny conjecture concerning finite state automata. In this talk I will present some properties of synchronizing groups and will investigate which of the affine primitive groups of degrees 4 and 9 are synchronizing. Orientador: Doutor Csaba Schneider
