Semi-Heyting Algebras and their Expansions (Talk 2)

In Semi-Heyting algebas are a natural generalization of Heyting algebras and extend some of the most interesting properties of Heyting algebras, such as distributivity, being pseudocomplemented, etc. Their expansions by a suitable unary operation, along with Semi-De Morgan algebras, led me to resolve a conjecture of mine made in 1987. In these talks I will survey these developments and some recent work by Professor M. Abad and his group in Bahia Blanca.
