Natural dualities allow us to represent an algebra as a set of continuous maps preserving a relational structure. Canonical extensions of lattice based algebras have compact and dense complete lattices as an underlying lattice in which the former are lattice embeddable. In some settings there is a bridge between natural dualities and canonical extensions, with entailment playing a role in it.
